tags 455646 + pending thanks I have just committed a couple of fixes upstream (for the "declaration changes meaning of symbol" errors) and GCC bug 34113 has been fixed. I can build upstream trunk and run the testsuite with no regressions, with gcc-snapshot identifying itself as:
gcc (Debian 20080113-1) 4.3.0 20080113 (experimental) [trunk revision 131510] I am still getting the erroneous "is used uninitialized" warnings reported as <http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=34470>. This may have been fixed with the change for <http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=34196>, but (unlike the GCC folks) I am not convinced that 34470 is actually a duplicate of 34196. I will retest that when a post-Jan 22 gcc-snapshot appears in Debian. The necessary changes will be in the 0.39-1 package, due out in the next few days. zw -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
