I'd suggest the same versionning scheme Ubuntu uses when it starts of a Debian version: $debian-version + ubuntu N; so if we have 1.2.3-4, you could use 1.2.3-4dm1, dm2 etc., or 1.3.0-0dm1. -- Loïc Minier
