Package: e2fsprogs
Version: 1.39+1.40-WIP-2006.11.14+dfsg-2etch1
Severity: minor
File: /sbin/fsck
Hello,
I have a system here that boots via NFS and so the file /etc/fstab looks
as follows:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/# cat /etc/fstab
# UNCONFIGURED FSTAB FOR BASE SYSTEM
But fsck grumbles:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/# fsck
fsck 1.40-WIP (14-Nov-2006)
WARNING: Your /etc/fstab does not contain the fsck passno
field. I will kludge around things for you, but you
should fix your /etc/fstab file as soon as you can.
I'm not sure if it's legitimate to have an empty fstab, but anyhow I
think fsck should not warn about that missing field in that case.
Best regards
Uwe
