Thanks for the report. AFAICS the only difference in the IO operations
is a non-successfull responste to fcntl(..., F_SETLK, ...). However this
should not be reported to user as "IO error while saving file". At least
the latest OpenOffice tells the reason, the previous version really
reported such "general IO error" nonsense. However, the proper solution
should allow the user to ignore the limitations of the filesystem.
That said, I am checking the ulockmgr issues in encfs now; expect a fix
RSN.
