Package: newsbeuter Version: 0.7-3+b1 Followup-For: Bug #448080 I never thought I'd be glad about a segfault :) This time I have a "stable" problem, it's not the provider but a DNS timeout at the other end. The URL in question is
http://planet.lug.fi.uba.ar/rss10.xml their DNS is in an unhealthy status: $ host planet.lug.fi.uba.ar planet.lug.fi.uba.ar has address 157.92.49.69 ;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached ;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached $ dig NS planet.lug.fi.uba.ar [no answer section] If I comment out the line in ~/.newsbeuter/urls there are no more segfaults. I've now installed your debug package, and attached is the result of gdb/bt full; unfortunately it still looks more like libc problems than newsbeuter problems but maybe they give you an idea. (I also have the output of strace -f -v, but it has 3 MB in gzipped form.) Please tell me if there's anything else I can do.
