It would still be helpful to have you check in there. Also please verify whether or not this upgrade procedure leaves a bacula-fd running. There are numerous reasons it could fail to start: something else listening on that port, a config error, etc. > bacula-fd 2.2.8-4 I have tried the upgrade of bacula-fd from this version on my machine and did not have any problems.
