Hi, are there any new thoughts on this issue? Will mysql 5.1 be released (and stable) in time for lenny? The current release schedule says full freeze will be in mid July.
If upstream does not adopt different symbol versions, would you still do it in the Debian packages? Or should I look for different options to support mysql in apr-util (like convincing the php maintainers to link against libmysqlclient_r)?
