Package: icedove
Version: 2.0.0.9 (20080110) - Debian package version: 2.0.0.9-3Severity: grave
Justification: corrupts some emails
When I click on an email stored in a 4th level subdirectory
("Local/Personal/Family/Wedding"), the toolbar doesn't propose
"Respond", "Transfer", etc., and the email is ready for sending (from
myself to myself), as if I had clicked on "Respond" (but I didn't).
Moreover if I send the message, the original message disappears from the
subdirectory, so it's lost! I only can find the new sent message in the
"Sent" directory, and the name of the original sender is lost.
To reproduce (but not for sure): create a 4-level subdirectory, for
instance "Local/1subdir/2subdir/3subdir/4subdir", then receive an email
and store it there. Then when you click on the message, you might see
the unexpected behaviour with the toolbar, and if you send the message,
you should see that it disappears from your mailbox...
But I just tried using my description, but I cannot reproduce it this way...
N.B: the messages I have in my subdir ("Local/Personal/Family/Wedding")
have arrived there through a filter.
Hope this allows reproduction of the problem, and hence fixing it.
Best regards,
Sylvain Vedrenne.
