I also have this problem. Clamd's memory usage goes up to 150MB, than I have
to restart it, because my system runs out of memory.
After disabling ClamdNotify and setting SelfCheck to 0, clamd uses
constantly 60MB. So I can confirm that it's the fault of the database
reloads.
I hope this will be fixed soon because this bug is very bothersome on my
system with low resources.
