That's not entirely exact. Shared debconf templates can have different translations between packages, that doesn't do any harm at all, just minor inconsistencies among packages...which noone usually notices. But indeed, this is one of the reason that make shared debconf templates not the best idea in the world..:-)..in the past, it appeared to be a good idea, but they become practically unmanageable. > reports through a single one reported for random package to pathological cases > of 11 different translations. Yeah, I saw the finnish translation coming (I subscribe to the PTS when I post an l10n NMU intent). So, I guess I should assume that the NMU can be put on hold and I leave the upload up to you, right ?
