Package: approx Version: 3.0.0+b1 Severity: wishlist I use simple-cdd to generate custom Debian CD images. simple-cdd needs a Debian mirror and it downloads packages (here everything is fine) but also files in /doc, /tools, /indices and dists/*/main/installer-*/ from the mirror (here it fails if I point it to the approx URL as it's not a real mirror).
If approx could have a configuration option to make this work it would be wonderful. Either behave like a normal cache (keep files as long as they are used) or simply provide a pass-through mechanism without any caching (having to re-download only the doc and installer stuff is not a big deal. However having to redownload everything from a real mirror is a pain).
