Agreed. The "important" tag was not here to "force" you pushing the
fix to sarge, for sure. I just felt that the indirect consequences
were nasty enough to motivate it.

I understand.

As you suggested, cloning this to lintian/linda and have them check
the templates file for such errors would anyway be great. However, I'm
perfectly unable to provide the needed check.
