Thanks Dave. William, do you have any more details? Unless there are large objections, I'm going to begin packaging this up. Even if there are known bugs, it sounds like the author is communicative and willing to fix them. Oh, and the version will be 0~svn15320-1, not 0~svn16176-1, as 16176 was the revision of the entire Rockbox archive at the time, while 15320 is the revision of the demac directory.
