Hello.
I've been hit by this bug also. It was caused by some update I did. I
remember that it was that the point where it stop working right.
I've tested with and without TLS autentication on smtp, and it still occurs.
Below, the first I've reproduced the bug with TLS enabled and then with TLS
disabled.

Note the number before the "Segmentation fault" is diferente. Is this
somewhat caused by a different lib? Maybe, the update is not using the lib
right or not respecting some lib state machine.
