Package: python2.4
Version: 2.4.5~c1-1
Severity: normal
Recently, Python downgraded the bsddb library. As explained in
bug #469221, this broke the database used by apt-listchanges.
That bug was reassigned to python2.4, then rejected back to
apt-listchanges. I am filing this bug against python2.4, and
asking the maintainers to reconsider, because spambayes broke
too, and with exactly the same symptoms. Actually, I came
across the other bug while googling bsddb.db.DBRunRecoveryError.
Thanks,
Shai.
