It seems to happen to me with some videos too, but some others seems to work OK. I asked about it to upstream [1] and it seems to be related to YouTube guys recalculating some URLs to make direct access harder. It seems that using GIO (giosrc) in favour of gnomevfs might solve the problem, but I couldn't find giosrc in Debian, so it'll have to wait until I can go for that. Please keep me informed of any changes in this.
