In #465783 bod indicated he'd upload it to sid in early March, so it should not be far off now in any case. I don't see any reason for waiting until then, though. There are about 300 packages that will need to be recompiled, and that can be done with binNMUs for the packages that build with both 5.8 and 5.10.
