Package: winpdb Version: 1.3.6-1 Severity: normal A string variable is cropped after 100-or-so bytes in the namespace pane. This is probably a feature. However, I cannot inspect the value beyond the crop.
I wish I could just type 'print var' at the console prompt, but apparently there is no way to execute python commands... I can double click to set a new value, but I cannot view the old value. The edit dialog should really be prefilled with the old value. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.24-1-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_GB, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages winpdb depends on: ii python 2.4.4-6 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-support 0.7.7 automated rebuilding support for P Versions of packages winpdb recommends: ii python-crypto 2.0.1+dfsg1-2.1 cryptographic algorithms and proto ii python-wxgtk2.6 2.6.3.2.2-2 wxWidgets Cross-platform C++ GUI t ii python-wxversion 2.6.3.2.2-2 wxWidgets Cross-platform C++ GUI t ii rxvt-unicode-ml [x-termi 9.02-1 multi-lingual terminal emulator wi ii screen 4.0.3-7 terminal multiplexor with VT100/AN -- no debconf information -- .''`. martin f. krafft <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> : :' : proud Debian developer, author, administrator, and user `. `'` http://people.debian.org/~madduck - http://debiansystem.info `- Debian - when you have better things to do than fixing systems
