Hi again, I wanted to inform you about the ongoing work around this error. The fixes I was checking to upload were related with the parmetis dependency. But there seems to be no chance for them, at least in a short term.
Rafael Laboissiere suggested me to move the dependency from libparmetis-dev (that belongs to non-free) to libscotchmetis-dev (that belongs to main) but this arises some compilation errors. I've seen there are some references in SuiteSparse/CHOLMOD library pointing to specific symbols of parmetis that are not available in libscotchmetis-dev. That's all by now. I would say this bug is close to be fixed.
