Package: tsocks
Version: 1.8beta5-8
Severity: normal

I think the fix to bug 373642 is working for me, except that every
connection to a host:port that is desired to fall through to the real
connect method issues a warning message:

> telnet www.google.com.au 80
Trying 64.233.189.147...
12:25:36 libtsocks(7032): Connection needs to be made via default server but
the default server has not been specified. Falling back to direct connection.
Connected to www.l.google.com.
Escape character is '^]'.

If people don't leave a default server configured, then it is a
deliberate action that doesn't need to cause the issuance of an error
message. I used Joachim Breitner's patch locally, modified to get rid
of that error message alltogether. Perhaps you want it a configurable
"Yes, I really want no default server" that then doesn't issue the
warning, but otherwise does?
