Hi Andreas, Thanks for the patch. Unfortunately I forgot to include it in the recent upload scim-chinese 0.4.2-2 (I was thinking this bug is against scim). So I am afraid this patch won't make into sarge. If the amd64 port uses gcc-4.0 by default now, you'll have to apply this patch to 0.4.2-2 again to make it build. Sorry for the inconvenence.
