Package: cacti Followup-For: Bug #466041 Still, the provided crontab in 0.8.6i-3.2 silently ignores some problems like PHP fatal errors (see #470237).
I would suggest to change the crontab line to something like : */5 * * * * www-data /usr/share/cacti/site/poller.php 2>/var/log/cacti/poller-error.log | grep 'Fatal error' Which would help detect PHP dependencies by having a mail sent to root.
