Package: cacti Followup-For: Bug #470237 It seems as though you have a setup meant for using PHP with mysql... so I think that the problem is not that it doesn't depend on php5-cli, but on php5-cli AND php5-mysql.
Actually, I think that the current dependencies are right : php4-cli | php5-cli, and also php4-mysql | php5-msql... but the problem is that php5-cli may be installed together with php4-mysql, or the reverse, php4-cli with php5-mysql... Some consistency checks may be done in postinst trying to make sure that the versions selected are correct, both for -cli and -mysql. Btw, I think the bug should be retitled, as the symptom is that the poller script cannot connect to mysql (which is btw not reported as an error because the crontab runs silently, see #466041).
