Package: fai Version: 2.8.2 Severity: serious FAI's postinst script changes /etc/fai/fai.conf and /etc/fai/sources.list, which are part of the package and marked as dpkg conffiles.
Section 10.7.3 of the policy says:
"The other way to do it is via the maintainer scripts. In this
case, the configuration file must not be listed as a conffile and
must not be part of the package distribution."
Thus, FAI is currently in violation of the policy. To fix, either
remove the debconf stuff again, or handle the two files with ucf (or
manually).
