Machine: Custom built Processor: dual P3 1 ghz Memory: 1024MB Root Device: /dev/hda and 3ware as /dev/sda Root Size/partition table: Output of lspci and lspci -n: Base System Installation Checklist: [O] = OK, [E] = Error (please elaborate below), [ ] = didn't try it Initial boot worked: [E] Configure network HW: [ ] Config network: [ ] Detect CD: [ ] Load installer modules: [ ] Detect hard drives: [ ] Partition hard drives: [ ] Create file systems: [ ] Mount partitions: [ ] Install base system: [ ] Install boot loader: [ ] Reboot: [ ] Comments/Problems: The system didn't boot. Always hangs after telling that the system is posix compatible. Don't know why. When using linux26 the system crashes with apic/kernel-errors. SuSE and other distributions are working fine. The ordinary woody installer is fine too except that it doesn't support 3ware. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
