Hi,
URL matching for svn repositories does allow the following:
svn+https?://...
which is not understood by svn, but plain
https?://...
URLs are marked as syntax errors and
svn+ssh://...
is not recognized, too. (Even if the latter is not recommended for
official Debian packages, it may be used in private packages where no
public repository is available).
