Hi, Changelog for upstream version 2.5.0beta1 (dated Feb. 29, 2008) contains: * The bug that caused busy loop when initial connection was immediately refused was fixed. and I am happy to confirm that this closes the "Busy waiting on querying localhost" bug I reported a bit more than two years ago. Yay!
