Package: synaptic
Version: 0.61+b1
Followup-For: Bug #440027
Not exactly the same problem. In GUI default value of 'Consider
recommended as dep...' is checked. After unchecking and applying,
synaptic behaved OK. Quiting. I checked synaptic.conf>
APT "" {
Install-Recommends "false";
};
seems ok, but next start, this setting is ignored by GUI, synaptic
behaves with recommended as dependencies, configuration window says the
same. Like not loaded setting. After resetting in GUI once again.
Everything is fine, untill quit.
