OTOH debian packages must have ipv6 support activated by default.

To fix the problem, set the INETD_COMPAT to No and add '-inetd_compat'
to XINETD_OPTIONS in /etc/default/xinetd.

I'll try to make a sh trick to guess if ipv6 support is enabled in the
kernel somehow and not add -inetd_ipv6 in the init.d in that case
(that's another fix you can do: line 23 of /etc/init.d/xinetd remove the
-inetd_ipv6 switch).

Meanwhile I'm downgrading the bug because xinetd is working in the
default Debian environment, and that configuration steps can avoid the
problem at once.

Cheers,
