Package: apt-cacher
Version: 1.6.1
Severity: important

Up until 1.5.3 I was setting http_proxy to point to apt-cacher when at work and
not setting it when at home, thus having one single sources.list with addresses
like http://ftp.us.debian.org ....

But in 1.6.1 using http_proxy triggers '/usr/sbin/apt-cacher: Usage error'
while the client keeps on waiting for the headers. The functionality is broken
and manual updating of sources.list is needed (in my case duplicating it).
