Package: apt-cacher Version: 1.6.1 Severity: important Up until 1.5.3 I was setting http_proxy to point to apt-cacher when at work and not setting it when at home, thus having one single sources.list with addresses like http://ftp.us.debian.org ....
But in 1.6.1 using http_proxy triggers '/usr/sbin/apt-cacher: Usage error' while the client keeps on waiting for the headers. The functionality is broken and manual updating of sources.list is needed (in my case duplicating it). -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers stable APT policy: (990, 'stable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.22 Locale: LANG=es_UY, LC_CTYPE=es_UY (charmap=ISO-8859-1) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
