Package: qemu Version: 0.9.1-3 Severity: normal
Dear QEMU team, I tried to start an encrypted image I had created using qemu-img create -f qcow2 test.qcow 15G -e with the following command line: qemu -boot d -cdrom debian-testing-i386-netinst.iso -hda test.qcow -m 1024 After this, qemu seems to hang. It does not even get so far as to open its output window. I expected to be prompted for a password in the monitor. The problem persists for other cdrom images. Without specifying "-e" to qemu-img, I can boot normally. Using the same command. qemu-img convert works fine with both an encrypted source and destination, as far as I can tell. I am being prompted to enter the necessary number of passwords. Is there additional information I can supply? Thank you in advance!
