Package: rtai
Version: 3.6-2
Severity: wishlist

Rtai can run in differents archs: x86 (with and without FPU and TSC),
x86_64, PowerPC and ARM

The debian package have been _only_ prepared to works on:
arm and i386. powerpc is outdated at 3.2-1, and amd64 is missing.

In the dsc file, the Architecture field is filled by: any. But, if I try to
buid the package (doing a backport .... on a etch system) I got this error:

************************************************************
 The target RTAI architecture (x86_64) does not match
 the kernel architecture selected in
 /srv/src/rtai-debian-pkg/debian-orig/rtai-3.6/debian/linux
 (i.e. CONFIG_X86_64 is undefined)
************************************************************

The .config file in
/srv/src/rtai-debian-pkg/debian-orig/rtai-3.6/debian/linux
contains:

#
# Automatically generated make config: don't edit
# Linux kernel version: 2.6.23
# Mon Jan 28 14:11:43 2008
#
CONFIG_X86_32=y
CONFIG_GENERIC_TIME=y
CONFIG_GENERIC_CMOS_UPDATE=y

..............

so, or I think that there's some kind of error in the debian package, or
simple the arch is not supported. Please could you look on it?

Regards,

Leo
