offlineimap seems to support connections over an IPv6 network. It also seems to support SSL-based connections. However, combining the two does not work. When a line "ssl = yes" appears in .offlineimaprc on a host that does have an AAAA DNS record, but no A record (such as western.grep.be, my home mailserver), offlineimap instantly dies on startup.
