Hi,

How much memory does your machine have? According to swish++.conf sample
file (see /usr/share/doc/swish++/examples/swish++.conf.gz), the default is
250000, and that should work fine for a 64Mib RAM machine (in a SPARC running
Solaris, but still). I see that the default for man2html is indeed 50000 as
you say, but I'd like to understand better the consequences of the change
before doing it. How will that impact performance/memory in newer machines
(i.e. virtually all of them)?

About swish++.conf being overwritten, I didn't consider it to be part of
the dhelp configuration, and it seems that dwww and man2html maintainers
thought the same. I wonder if it would be a good idea to move it to /etc. In
the mean time, you could divert it I guess.
