I guess either because /etc/profile.d/ was not known or didnt exist when
our code was written :-) Thanks for the pointer.
BTW, I tried 10 minutes to figure out what IICU means, ITYM IIUC :)
And yes, Debian Edu is LSB complient, it's 99,867% Debian.
