I removed all interfaces except lo from /etc/network/interfaces. Bringing up lo still runs my firewall script... weird. I have not tested bringing up eth1 (ethernet) again yet with NM, but the wireless manager still uses wlan0_rename, and still does not run the firewall script. Since the "udev: rename wmaster0 to eth2" hangs for 20 seconds or so at boot time, and both eth2 and wlan0_rename show up in ifconfig, could this be a bug with iwl3945 or with udev? If the interface were properly renamed, would NM be able to run the script? Mark -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
