Could you please send me the config.log file. I fail to reproduce this problem.
I perfectly works for me with gcc-4.3 and it is somehow "untypical" for me
to have problems on configure level. Other gcc-4.3 problems were caused by
some missing includes but I have no idea at all how to tackle this problem.
Any patch is greatly welcome.
