During the upgrade from 0.9.0 to 0.9.1, I encountered the following error: Setting up runit-run (0.9.1) ... update-alternatives: error or eof reading /var/lib/dpkg/alternatives/policy-rc.d for update_mode () dpkg: error processing runit-run (--configure): subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 2 Errors were encountered while processing: runit-run E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) $ ls -l /var/lib/dpkg/alternatives/policy-rc.d -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Feb 25 20:59 /var/lib/dpkg/alternatives/policy-rc.d I'm not sure if this is really a runit bug, though.
