Thanks for the report, there are indeed still several places ignoring 'linkstyle' in the current development version. I find the whole 'linkstyle' variable a bit questionable and would prefer getting rid of it for good. I'd have hoped that the default value of 'relative' would work for everybody, and the fact it took this long for anybody to notice (or at least report) this bug makes my opinion a bit stronger. Could you please describe why you need absolute links instead of relative ones? Are you using URL rewriting or something like that?
