Subject: konsole: ctrl-d stops working Package: konsole Version: 4:3.5.9.dfsg.1-2+b1 Severity: normal
Sometimes konsole stops accepting ctrl-d. It makes a (quiet) beep sound instead (as opposed to 'loud' beep when you hit tab a few times). Other shortcuts like ctrl-z still work. When this bug occurs, it affects all tabs in konsole, new and old. It affects both remote (ssh) and local shells. New konsole sessions don't have the problem. The terminal (ctrl-alt-f1) is fine too. It's as if I hit a secret 'disable Ctrl-D' keyboard shortcut at some point. Sometimes the problem goes away by itself. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.24-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_ZA, LC_CTYPE=en_ZA (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages konsole depends on: ii kdelibs4c2a 4:3.5.9.dfsg.1-2+b1 core libraries and binaries for al ii libc6 2.7-10 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.3.0-3 GCC support library ii libqt3-mt 3:3.3.8b-5 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime v ii libstdc++6 4.3.0-3 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 2:1.0.3-7 X11 client-side library ii libxrender1 1:0.9.4-1 X Rendering Extension client libra konsole recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
