Package: bug-buddy Version: 2.22.0+dfsg-2 Severity: wishlist Due to the good integration of gnome crashes with bug-buddy, it would be nice if bug-buddy could report directly to debian BTS. For crashers that look like a regression in packaging (as opposed to upstream), the user could then easily send stack traces to debian directly.
Bonus points for somehow invoking the appropriate parts of reportbug's data collection magic in the background when filing a debian bug. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (60, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.24-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages bug-buddy depends on: ii gconf2 2.22.0-1 GNOME configuration database syste ii gdb 6.7.1-2 The GNU Debugger ii gnome-desktop-data 2.22.1-1 Common files for GNOME 2 desktop a ii libbonobo2-0 2.22.0-1 Bonobo CORBA interfaces library ii libc6 2.7-10 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libebook1.2-9 2.22.1-1 Client library for evolution addre ii libelfg0 0.8.6-4 an ELF object file access library ii libgconf2-4 2.22.0-1 GNOME configuration database syste ii libglib2.0-0 2.16.3-2 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnome-menu2 2.22.1-1 an implementation of the freedeskt ii libgnome2-0 2.20.1.1-1 The GNOME 2 library - runtime file ii libgnomeui-0 2.20.1.1-1 The GNOME 2 libraries (User Interf ii libgnomevfs2-0 1:2.22.0-2 GNOME Virtual File System (runtime ii libgtk2.0-0 2.12.9-3 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libgtop2-7 2.22.1-1 gtop system monitoring library ii liborbit2 1:2.14.12-0.1 libraries for ORBit2 - a CORBA ORB ii libsoup2.4-1 2.4.1-1 an HTTP library implementation in ii libstdc++6 4.3.0-3 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 2:1.0.3-7 X11 client-side library ii libxml2 2.6.31.dfsg-2 GNOME XML library ii rarian-compat [scrollkeepe 0.6.0-1 Rarian is a documentation meta-dat bug-buddy recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
