Something that I find more striking (visually) is that although we have this red & blue combination in the usplash part of the boot, the desktop theme is pure blue (which is also the splash used by default on GRUB 2). This inconsistency looks uglier than the combination of pink & red, IMHO. Maybe this would be a good place for the newly-created marketing team to act?
