Package: gconf2 Version: 2.22.0-1 Severity: normal
Since the last update of GNOME components a few days ago I get a message every login saying that the GNOME settings daemon failed to start (too many restarts) and themes etc. might not work (they don't). Before this main error message a lot of similar ones pop up but are gone too fast to read. 1) The messages are in German, how can I force them to be in English so I can post the full text? Selecting en-US.UTF-8 in gdm menu does not works, it only produces errors about the language not being available and I can't set C locale from gdm. 2) Are the messages logged somewhere?
