Hello,
Display and convert both fail to load 16 colors RLE encoded BMP files.
Convert dies with
convert: Invalid colormap index `filename.bmp'.
Display only displays a few pixels over a black background.
for example, if you have lilo (sarge version) installed, try :
display /usr/share/lilo/*.bmp
coffee.bmp (256 colors) and debianlilo.bmp (16 colors uncompressed) are
perfectly displayed, but sarge.bmp and sid.bmp aren't.
The problem happened with other 16 colors compressed BMP I tried.
