Thanks, that pretty much works. Now all I have to do is work out how to import the old phpbb2 posts and users.
I thought acp->maintenance->restore would do it, but that just says "There are no items yet" rather than giving me a "browse" button to select the backup I just took of my phpbb2 data. -- Nigel Horne.
