Package: aptitude Version: 0.4.9-2 Severity: important The --download-only option is not honoured by the interactive mode of aptitude, and no option is presented in the application itself to change this. Set to 'important' only because it amounts to contradicting the user's instruction (It's rather disconcerting to tell an app not to do something, only to have it do it anyway). I've had need of it on several occasions in the past, and also see no reason why the option should work in one mode and not the other.
