Using either rc3 or daily netinst 20050522 of the sarge
installer, the Debian logo of the splash screen is totally
disturbed. The text below ("press F1...") is OK. Other
people seem to have the same problem:

The machine is a ISSAM smartbook A-8375P with 14'' TFT XGA,
AMD Mobile, 32 MB VGA.
As the boot logo is the first thing people see of Debian and
d-i (before pressing even one key), the impression should be
better. If the logo cannot get fixed, it would be much
better not to show a logo, but text only.
FYI: Ubuntu 5.04 suffers as well.
