Package: apt-listchanges Version: 2.82 Severity: wishlist Sometimes apt-listchanges fails and does not see the changelogs for some updates. This can happen for various reasons; in the past I have seen random Python changes temporarily break apt-listchanges, and most recently the python bdb rollback caused this problem. When a problem like this happens, and later gets fixed, apt-listchanges shows all the changelog entries it has seen, not just those corresponding to the upgrade in progress.
To avoid this, I'd like to have some option to tell apt-listchanges that I have seen the changelogs for all installed packages. Alternatively, perhaps apt-listchanges could just show the entries newer than the currently installed version, rather than all those it hasn't seen. - Josh Triplett -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
