Thanks for the report -- we are well aware about this, but it should be documented in the BTS so that the brokenness doesn't sneak in the stable release. Unfortunately the fix for this bug has to wait for a while. projectcenter.app is the only package not yet transitioned to GNUstep Make 2.0. I have prepared an upload that fixes all of its bugs, but had to package a snapshot of the unreleased 0.5.0 version which unfortunately requires gnustep-gui from experimental. The 0.4.3 version produces broken makefiles (with combination of other nasty bugs; it is basically useless with the GNUstep stack in Lenny) and backporting the patches is no fun, especially when the 0.5.0 release is imminent. It could be uploaded to experimental, but that won't help most users as -gui 0.13 has a SONAME bump so you'll have to rebuild all the GNUstep stuff you have installed. Hubert, there is a very simple workaround which I believe is also the right thing to do: Demote projectcenter.app and projectmanager.app to Recommends:, even ORed. That will still be just a workaround as it breaks the release goal "satisfiable Recommends" but I guess it's less of a problem than the present state, at least until the real solution comes. One can certainly do all kinds of GNUstep development without IDEs. This applies to gorm.app as well, but to a lesser extent. IMHO a Suggests: relationship would be somewhat wrong given the fact that upstream tutorials/documentation always talk about Gorm and Project Center, so most of the users would probably want them installed. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
