Package: gitweb Severity: normal The gitweb CGI references two png images and a CSS stylesheet. The gitweb package ships these in /var/www. Please don't do that.
I want to put gitweb in a virtual host, with an entirely separate DocumentRoot. This forces me to copy those files from /var/www to the new DocumentRoot, and keep them up to date when they change. Ideally, gitweb would ship these files in /usr/share/gitweb/www instead. gitweb could also include a sample virtual host configuration in /usr/share/doc/gitweb.
